A San Francisco–inspired weekend at Cavallo Point Lodge, shaped by Marell and Joe’s love of the city and their appreciation for thoughtful, welcoming hospitality. Guests were brought into the experience from the start, gathering on the Bay for a boat cruise beneath the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz—an opening that felt distinctly personal and rooted in place.
Throughout the weekend, their interest in classic design and a sense of history guided each decision. Midsummer color and rich materials created an environment that felt warm and familiar, while subtle references to Art Deco and Art Nouveau brought a sense of nostalgia without feeling overly formal. Dinner unfolded beneath a sailcloth tent under the oak trees, accompanied by live musicians, before the evening built naturally into a full dance floor and a late-night bowling alley afterparty.
